Recently, the Ministry of Education released the list of the third batch of National First-Class Undergraduate Courses. The course Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Legal Basis offered by the School of Marxism has been successfully approved as a National Online-Offline Blended First-Class Undergraduate Course.

Since 2018, the course has undergone comprehensive development and teaching reform, focusing on innovating classroom teaching to achieve in-depth, thorough and vivid instruction. In 2020, the teaching team initiated the development of a MOOC, promoted interdisciplinary integration, and established a new online-offline blended teaching model to continuously improve teaching quality. In 2024, the course was selected as a Provincial Online-Offline Blended First-Class Undergraduate Course of Jiangsu Province, and in 2025, it received national-level recognition.

Going forward, the course team will further deepen reform and innovation in course content, teaching forms and teaching models, so as to continuously enhance course construction and classroom teaching quality.
